Position Overview

As an Insurance Producer, you will play a key role in our agency’s success by generating new business, building and maintaining client relationships, and providing expert insurance advice. You will work closely with clients to assess their insurance needs, recommend appropriate coverage options, and tailor insurance solutions to meet their unique requirements. Additionally, you will collaborate with our team to develop strategic marketing initiatives and drive business growth.

Responsibilities

Prospect and generate new leads through various channels, including networking events, referrals, and cold calling.
Conduct thorough client assessments to understand their insurance needs and financial goals.
Educate clients on available insurance products and coverage options, recommending solutions that best meet their needs.
Prepare and present insurance proposals, negotiating terms and closing sales.
Maintain accurate client records and follow up on leads to ensure timely and effective communication.
Collaborate with team members to develop marketing strategies and promotional campaigns to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive offerings to remain a trusted advisor to clients.

Qualifications

Previous experience in insurance sales or a related field preferred, but not required.
Strong sales and customer service skills with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional service to clients.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
Detail oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
Insurance license or willingness to obtain one within a specified timeframe.
